We are the data controller for the personal data we process in connection with the Nomad Sync service.

Data We Collect

We collect and process the following data:

• Email address — provided when you sign up (via Clerk).
• Travel booking data — extracted from emails you forward to your Nomad Sync forwarding address. We process this data solely to generate your travel timeline and itinerary.
• IP address — used for security and abuse prevention.

We process email content only for itinerary extraction. We do not use your data for marketing, advertising, or any purpose other than providing the service you signed up for.

Purpose and Legal Basis

We process your data to provide the Nomad Sync service: building and maintaining your travel timeline from the confirmation emails you forward to us. Our legal basis is the performance of a contract — providing the service you signed up for.

Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erase — request deletion of your data.

You can delete your account and associated data at any time via the Settings page in the app. We will then remove your profile and itinerary data from our systems.

Data Storage

We use Supabase to store your profile and itinerary data. Where possible, we use EU-based servers. Authentication is handled by Clerk, which may process data in accordance with its own privacy policy and applicable law.
